Spotlight: Quiet on AW over the winter but that didn't do his mark any harm; in better form back on turf, winning at Musselburgh in April (5f, good) and finishing fifth in a strong York handicap last month (blinkered first time); one of a number of front-runners in the field.

Spotlight: Made all when beating Brave Nation in the corresponding race 12 months ago and he returns off a 1lb lower mark; been running creditably this spring but he'll have to do some work to dominate a field featuring some other quick horses.

Spotlight: She has struggled in two of her three runs for Karl Burke but they were in Listed company and she ran well in a 6f handicap at Ascot in between; she has a bit more to prove over this trip though.

Spotlight: Didn't progress for Andrew Balding last year but he's run three solid races in defeat for new connections, latterly second of nine at Thirsk; not sure to confirm those placings with third-placed Squealer.

Spotlight: Back to the same mark as when winning a soft-ground handicap at the Leger meeting here last September (6.5f); down the field in two runs this season and not sure he's in the form required to take this.
