Spotlight: Listed winner on soft last May and she also won a five-runner Group 3 at the Curragh (1m1f, good; last to first) last July; shaped okay when third to runaway winner in York Group 2 (1m2f, good to firm) on last month's reappearance; it's hard to say whether she or Chic Colombine suffered the worst nightmare run in this race last year but both ran on well to be placed and she's firmly in the mix again if getting sufficient breaks.

Spotlight: Seems versatile ground-wise; lightly raced 4yo who had cheekpieces added for last two starts in 2024 when going close in a 1m1f Group 3 at Chantilly and edging ahead close home in 1m Listed contest at Sandown; more is needed but she could be the type to do better still.

Spotlight: The only 3yo in this field and she's had just four starts; made all at Kempton (7f, AW) last October and runner-up in the other three, most recently on turf debut when coming strongly from the rear in nine-runner 3yo Listed race at York (1m, good to firm) while the winner raced on the other side; better is needed but she looks promising.

Spotlight: Versatile tactically; took her form to a new level in 2024, which included a Listed win at Newmarket (1m, heavy) in September and some solid runs in Group races to start the season; close fourth from the front at Goodwood on reappearance five weeks ago and has each-way claims.

Spotlight: Won on soft ground on debut, with all six starts since on good; won 1m Listed race at Chantilly last June and went close in one at Goodwood (stumbled badly leaving the stalls) on latest outing; coming up short in Group 3 events in her three runs in between helps to show she has work to do.

Spotlight: Front-runner; campaigned mostly over 1m last term, winning a Listed race at Sandown (soft) in July; minor honours at this level in the last two of her Group races, including back over 7f at Lingfield (good to firm) on reappearance; needs a career best but that was an encouraging return.

Spotlight: Ridden by Laura Pearson for over two years now; 11-22 overall, often front-runner; it took until October before she really found her stride last season but she then won two Listed races at Saint-Cloud and one at Nottingham, all at about 1m in the mud; 2025 return (Saint-Cloud) wasn't great, so she's been well held since last July in all three of her Group races, but the Listed form suggests she is well capable of winning at this level.

Spotlight: Three wins already last term before she proved a revelation in Listed race at Ascot (7f, soft) in October, gamely making most to score on her first run on ground softer than good; has left William Haggas (same owners); more to prove at about 1m (third go today) and further marked improvement is needed.

Spotlight: Stacks went wrong for her in this race last year (good to soft; acts on heavy) but she renewed her effort in fine style to go down by a neck in that bunched finish; however, all four starts since have been a major struggle and she was given wind surgery after final run last term; tongue tied this season and also sports cheekpieces in this revival bid.

Spotlight: Easily best form when third of nine in Group 3 at Sandown (1m, good) last August; not disgraced on final start (1m2f, good to soft; unraced on soft) in that mixed campaign; needs to return with a career best.

Spotlight: A pretty useful handicapper who's seen mostly over about 7f and has been much better over that trip than 1m; effective in the mud but this race would still look a stiff task even if it rains all day.
