Spotlight: His hurdling career for David Pipe was quickly aborted after he pulled hard at Taunton in December but he returned to the Flat with a rallying third at Musselburgh (7f, good) two weeks ago; has claims if he can build on that and he looks worth a try at this new trip.

Spotlight: Useful 3yo who found his level again late last year when winning a couple of Wolverhampton handicaps (8.6f); made a low-key return at Yarmouth two weeks ago but he may have needed that run and he now drops back in grade; not ruled out.

Spotlight: Won at Windsor (1m, good to firm) last June but he's been a bit up and down since and was beaten 11l at Southwell in his final run last year; hard to know what to expect on his return but he's on a dangerous mark back on turf and needs checking in market; stablemate of Bass Player.
