Spotlight: 0-4 over hurdles but has run well in defeat; good effort on handicap debut when beaten 2.25l by Lilian Bland at Downpatrick (2m6f good); not a bad effort latest in a Tramore beginners' chase; place claims at least back over timber.
Spotlight: Bumper winner placed in three maiden hurdles at 16.5f-2m6f on good and soft ground for Willie Mullins, including a 4.25l third here (16.5f, yielding) behind a now 128 rated chaser; market should reveal plenty on stable and handicap debut after a 306 day absence.
Spotlight: Dual-purpose maiden is 0-18 over hurdles; runner up the last twice off 96; raised 3lb for 0.5l defeat at Kilbeggan (19.5f, yielding) on latest; course form figures of 222; thereabouts again.
Spotlight: Two-time chase winner is 1-17 over timber; took advantage of lower hurdles mark at Downpatrick (2m6f, good) in March, beating Joueuse Royale by 2.25l; in contention when falling in a Tramore handicap chase latest off 102; 5lb lower here and could go well back returned to hurdles.
Spotlight: Easy winner off 87 at Leopardstown (2m4f, yielding) in March; has come up short twice since off revised mark, though wasn't beaten far latest; needs more to win off this rating.
Spotlight: Promise in last two maiden hurdles; beaten 9.25l when fourth of 14 over 20.5f here on latest (yielding); unraced on good ground but pedigree offers hope she'll handle it; worth a market check on handicap debut.
Spotlight: Best effort yet over timber in 15.5f Kilbeggan maiden hurdle on latest, shaping as though further would suit; pedigree suggests it will suit too (sister to Grand National winner Nick Rockett); could go well on handicap debut.
Spotlight: Locally trained mare is 0-6 over hurdles; best effort yet a 4.75l fifth of 15 in first-time blinkers (retained) at Ballinrobe (21.5f, good) last month; this shorter trip will suit her on that evidence; yard won this last year; should go well again off the same mark.
Spotlight: Won a 21.5f mares' maiden hurdle at Tramore (gd-yld) in August; has come up short in handicaps since; beaten 19l when eighth of 9 at Ballinrobe (21.5f, good); down 3lb but she needs more in first-time cheekpieces.
Spotlight: 0-8 over hurdles; placed in back to back races in October-December, including a 5l second here on soft ground over 16.5f; weakened over that distance here on latest so not sure this step back up in trip will suit (well beaten sole previous try at 2m4f); others preferred.
Spotlight: Won a Clonmel handicap (2m3f, soft) in February off 73; went close off revised mark at Down Royal in March; ran better than result suggests off this mark latest at Kilbeggan (2m2f, gd-yld); place claims stepped back up in trip.
Spotlight: Dual-purpose maiden is 0-10 over hurdles; ran okay at Fairyhouse (16.5f, yielding) in December off 88; hasn't repeated that in two runs since, including over this trip at Leopardstown on latest; others appeal more.
Spotlight: First reserve; 0-9 over hurdles; best run a 15.5l fifth of 15 at Gowran (2m4f, yielding) in November when would have finished closer but for late mistake; off since poor run at Thurles (2m, good) later that month; 8lb wrong here and best watched.
Spotlight: Dual point-to-point winner; hasn't shown a lot in six starts over hurdles; beaten 22l on latest at Clonmel (2m3f, soft) in February; down 2lb and cheekpieces now tried but good ground is a concern; 3lb wrong and others preferred.
Spotlight: Won a 2m Worcester maiden hurdle on good ground for Fergal O'Brien in August 2023; poor efforts in first three handicaps at 16.5f-19.5f for current yard; beaten 23l on latest at Kilbeggan; 3lb lower but hard to fancy in first-time cheekpieces.

An open race. Lilian Bland and Joueuse Royale renew rivalry after finishing 1-2 at Downpatrick in March and the latter may be able to turn that form around on these terms. Bayou Belle is in fine fettle and has solid course form in the book so she has to be considered but the locally trained ROSE BOUM is preferred for last year's winning yard. She took a big step forward at Ballinrobe last time and she should be well suited by the slight drop back in trip. [Dave Stephens] Show less
